Welcome to Physical Education Class!


I hope that this year our students will learn about a variety of exercises to keep fit and healthy. 

Grades 2,3,4, and 5 are currently learning about and performing Aerobic Fitness.  Each student will be given the opportunity to perform certain exercises each week during physical education class.  I will adapt the exercise to the individual, not the individual to the exercise.  This means that your child will do what they are capable of doing to the best of their ability.


Your child will learn how to check his or her pulse. They will be able to measure their heart rate before and after they exercise. 


They will be able to see the difference in their heart rate at a rest and compare it to a faster rate.  



On gym days, your child should come prepared wearing comfortable clothing and sneakers.
