Monday

Your child should have a plastic baggy with 5 books in it.  These books need to be read over and over all week.  New books will be given next Monday.

 

o        Reading: Have an adult set a timer and read for 20-30 minutes

o        Writing: In your HW notebook, draw a picture of how Fern in the story Charlotte’s Web felt at the beginning of the story.  On page 2 draw a picture of how Fern felt at the end of Chapter 1.  Write a few sentences describing why Fern felt the way she did in the beginning of Chapter 1.  On page 2, write a few sentences describing how and why Fern’s feelings changed at the end of Chapter 1.  IF YOUR CHILD NEEDS HELP PLEASE ASSIST THEM NOW, EVENTUALLY THEY WILL BECOME INDEPENDENT WORKERS.

o        Get all of your supplies and label them with your name

o        Math : Homework Sheets 3 & 4

o        PLEASE REMIND YOUR CHILD that homework is due

every day.   I have many students who are not doing or completing the homework.  This will be reflected on your child’s report card. Your child will have their 1st Math TEST Friday, 10/10.  Please start to study.

 

Tuesday

o        Writing: In your HW notebook, write about what you read tonight.  Give details such as who, what, where, when, and why.  Tell what you learned from your reading.  Draw a picture of your favorite part.

o        Math: Practice and Homework Sheet

o        Get all your supplies and label them with your name

 

Wednesday
